So Lana and I do not have a middle name on our birth certificate but when we are introduced to anyone in our Russian community we are called for example Ellen, “Moisi’s daughter”, Bagdanov. Well it’s hers too because in our Russian culture girls and boys get their father’s name as their middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.īack in 2007 Lana tagged me after she used my middle name.
